Typical Timeline

As our teams are composed entirely of HBS students, they reform each year. The following schedule illustrates the typical annual timeline of our grant making teams:

 

Month Event
September

Information session for new students

Harbus Foundation team applications due

October

Teams selected

Team training & Kick-off

Determine criteria and evaluation method

November

Finalize initial list of applicants

Applications mailed to selected non-profits 

Collect applications 

December

Narrow down applicants to finalists for site visits (typically 2-4 per team)

Announce semi-finalists  

 
December - February
Conduct site visits
March-April

Final grantees selected

Grantees celebration with all Harbus Foundation teams
